The eQSS Model 6242 Crane Safety Appliance (CSA) provides a complete solution to the requirements of AS1418.5-2002 (Section 7.3), for use on mobile cranes, tower cranes, truck cranes and hoists of all types. The ability to use low-cost sensors ensures the cost of new installations are kept to a minimum.

Overview

Description

The Model 6242 CSA is a Rated Capacity Indicator / Limiter, and also a comprehensive safety device, incorporating technology which removes the potentially dangerous elements found in existing products, such as "manual line part selection" and "manual boom / fly length entry".

While the CSA is an aid to the operator it also provides vital "fail to safe" features, further reducing the risk to the plant and operator.
