The eQSS Model 6214 is an Angle / Working Radius indicator especially designed to meet the requirements of AS1418.5 (Section 7.3.2.3 & 7.3.2.4). The unit combines a friendly user interface with an advanced sensor communication system.

Description

The unit is ideal for fixed boom cranes such as pipe layers, workshop cranes, lattice boom or tower cranes.

When used in conjunction with a Model 6280 Boom ID Module, the unit will automatically detect the current boom length and configure its-self correctly, making the operation of this unit fail-safe.

A relay output is provided to limit the boom hoisting when the working radius exceeds the manufacturers recommendations.

The unit is easy to install, requires no user intervention during normal use.
